This crochet sweater or t-shirt comes in sizes 0-3m to 10 years. It is worked top-down, so the body and sleeve length are completely adjustable. The pattern is a simple 3 row repeat that doesn’t include any advanced stitches- just sc, dc and chains.
You can play around a lot with colours with this pattern, which is why I called it the chameleon sweater!
You can make the whole length with stripes, only put stripes on the yoke, or invent your own pattern of contrast colour bands. This garment will look amazing with variegated or long print yarn- but I would suggest paring that with a solid colour otherwise it will be hard to make out the lovely stripe pattern.
To make your own Chameleon sweater you will need:
A 4mm hook, and 350-750 m or 385-825 yards weight 2/dk/light worsted yarn.
Suggested yarn: JC Brett party time stripe dk for the variegated colour.
